Sculptor Keith Sherwin has created this beautiful sculpture of the Barn Owl perched on the old trunk of a mighty Oak tree. The bark is covered in Ivy, and beefsteak mushrooms grow out from the deep recesses of the old wood. These intricate details are highlighted carefully by hand painting with artist's oils. The whole piece is cast in solid foundry bronze, making it a beautiful gift or centrepiece for the home, to be admired for many years to come.

The Barn Owl is made in solid foundry bronze using the ancient method of lost wax casting. The design is finished by the art of patination, where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze, and heat is applied to create a deep, rich brown patina. The bronze is then sealed with a special wax, which further enhances the colour and protects it for years to come.

Your Barn Owl is beautifully presented in a white presentation box containing a certificate of authenticity. The bronze is engraved with the sculptor's signature and the limited edition number, which matches the certificate enclosed.
